First, thank you for taking the time to check out my website. My husband volunteers his time to keep it as up to date as possible, although our Facebook page is really where we thrive. Thousands of pics and videos are posted to our Facebook page (normally daily) showing our love for all dogs, big or small. I want to be straight forward up front. I am not a puppy mill, but rather an in-home kennel-free breeder of only English Golden Retrievers. I breed following the strict guidelines set forth by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). I do not cut corners. I do not over breed. I do not breed any Retriever that is not health tested and the quality that, in turn, betters the breed.

So, a little about myself. I'm Kimberly and grew up as a military brat living all around the US while my father served in and later retired from the US Air Force. Growing up, we always had animals ranging from horses to dogs to chickens. My mother started breeding 25+ years ago as a way to supplement our family's military income. It was my dad's love for his Country that made me decide to serve as well, in the US Marine Corps after graduating high school. While I didn't make the military a career, I am proud to have served. After serving, I finally settled down in Washington DC and started a new career working for the Federal Government. While there, I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix, and later my Master's Degree from Penn State University.

 

Washington DC is where I met the man who would became my husband. Jerry was serving his Country in the US Army, and later retired after 22 years of service. I never had children of my own, but Jerry has four, so I became an instant "bonus" mom. After Jerry retired from the Service, I transferred from Washington DC to North Texas to be closer to my family. He, of course, followed. After a brief stay in the outskirts of Fort Worth, we finally settled down on a 14-acre property in Montague, which is where we now call home. That is until we recently decided we've been in one spot too long (thank you military for getting us so used to moving every few years). We have decided to move to Jerry's hometown, Palmerton, PA. Our move will take place in the spring/summer of 2023.

So, back to the breeding part... In 2017, I decided to take over part of my mother's breeding program. The part that would become what you are looking at today, NTX Goldens. My mother, along with a few select AKC breeders, mentored me to ensure I knew anything and everything about the proper way to breed English Golden Retrievers. My love for dogs runs deep. Along with our breeding retrievers, we also foster and rescue other dogs, and allow others to board their dogs with us, kennel-free of course. You'll see that as you look through the thousands of pics and videos on Facebook and Instagram.  Know that all our dogs are part of the family. They do not live in kennels. They live in our home and move about just like I do. Sleeping on the bed is part of their nightly routine.
