Just like their parents, each puppy is genetically tested for the eight common Golden Retriever genetic deficiencies (prcd, PRA1, PRA2, DM, MD, NCL, ICH, and ICH2) unless cleared by parentage (meaning both parents are not carriers or affected by the deficiency) shortly after they're born. For more information on genetic testing, please check out our Genetics Tab above. Puppies are dewormed regularly, microchipped using AKC Reunite, started on their first series of shots, socialized with other dogs and humans, introduced to the great outdoors, started on crate training, and started on potty training. All puppies are raised utilizing Puppy Culture Protocols. To find out more about these protocols, click any of the Puppy Culture images on our site. Puppies receive a vet health check prior to departure, and come with a written 2-year health guarantee (yes, it is in our contract). Plus, you'll have a lifetime of breeder support even if we stop breeding. We will be here to answer any questions, regardless if you buy a puppy from us or another breeder. Visiting of puppies starts once they reach five weeks of age. No puppy is made available to go to their fur-ever home until at least eight weeks of age.
Scroll down to find information on our current litter (if we have one). Additional photos of current and previous litters can be found on our Facebook page (click blue button below). For easier identification, each puppy is given a colored collar starting from birth. This will make them easier to identify in photos (when you can see the collar, puppy hair becomes very fluffy) and will be the way we refer to them in most of our post descriptions. All our puppies come with the proper paperwork for AKC registration. The actual AKC registration fee (and the lifetime AKC Reunite fee) is not included on our pricing because you'll have different options available under each type of AKC registration. When purchasing a puppy, you have a choice of either Limited or Full AKC Registration. Limited AKC registration is $3,000 (plus any associated AKC fee). Limited AKC registration is what we recommend to most families who are simply looking for a quality pet with Championship bloodlines. Limited AKC registration excludes breeding rights and the ability to show your puppy at some of the AKC Dog Shows. Not having breeding rights means if your puppy whelps or sires a litter, that litter will not be able to be registered through AKC. Full AKC registration is $4,000 (plus any associated AKC fee). Full AKC registration gives you all the rights as limited, but includes breeding rights and the ability to show your puppy at all AKC Dog Show. Full AKC registration is only granted on a limited basis. NTX Goldens holds the right to deny anyone full AKC registration. Notice, we don't hide our prices like most other breeders do... Did we mention our health guarantee? Just ask us to check out our contract to review our health guarantee.

PUPPY APPLICATION
Yes, we do have a application, but don't let that scare you off. We have tons of interest in our puppies because of our high quality standards, testing processes, utilization of Puppy Culture Protocols, and the fact that we only have a couple quality litters a year. Submitting a puppy application and a non-refundable deposit of $250 will be required to hold your spot in line (once your application is approved). This non-refundable deposit will be put towards the final purchase price of your puppy. To learn more about our puppy application and submission process, please click the Puppy Application button below. You will be able to return to this page without submitting a puppy application if you are simply wanting to check out the process. If you have questions before deciding to submit a puppy application and deposit, our contact information is at the bottom of each page. We will be more than happy to answer any question(s) you have.
NOTE: We do not ship our puppies, but they can fly in cabin with you (check with airlines for requirements, each is different). Puppies are normally picked up at our home or a meeting place agreed to ahead of time (including local airports). We try to be home as much as possible once the puppies turn 8 weeks old. This makes picking up your puppy so much easier. We are available for both weekday or weekend pickup. We recommend picking up earlier in the day as it allows maximum time for your puppy to get used to its new surroundings before bedtime.

Current Litter
We do not have puppies available at this time. See Upcoming Litter below to see what pairings will be coming next, along with the time frame we expect them to be born. We are always accepting applications for future litters.
Upcoming Litter
We are not expecting any puppies at this time. We plan to breed Sally and Ricochet during her next cycle (April/May 2025 time frame). This litter will only produce ALL CLEAR puppies as both parents are ALL CLEAR (and fully health tested). This means all the puppies will be clear of the 8 common golden retriever genetic deficiencies by parentage. See our genetics tab above to read all about these genetic deficiencies and why testing is so important. Remember, our puppies do not go to their fur-ever homes until they are at least 8 weeks old. This is to promote safety and healthy growth of each puppy.
We are always accepting applications for our upcoming litters. We do not know the exact number of male or females puppies that will be born in each litter. For that reason, we can not guarantee availability. But, know that we will do our best to fulfill your puppy needs. By only utilizing our stud, Ricochet, you are guaranteed a Champion Sired puppy. ALL breeding's take place at our home (in Palmerton, PA) from Retrievers we own. We do not utilize guardian homes or studs/dams from other outside breeders. Here is the K9Data link showing the pedigree of future litters between our stud, Ricochet, and dam, Sally.

We are always asked what we feed our Retrievers. Here at NTX Goldens, we exclusively feed all our Retrievers pawTree dog food. Why pawTree? First, it's made in the USA. Second, our Retrievers love it. They became picky eaters with our previous dog food. Once we switched to pawTree, they're no longer picky and gobble down every last piece. Plus, there's flavor packets to sprinkle on the food to make it taste different. This gives our Retrievers a variety of taste with the confidence knowing that we are fueling their bodies with the proper nutrition needed to support optimal health and vitality. But pawTree doesn't just stop at dog food and seasonings. They also have health and wellness products, treats, gifts, grooming line, Paw Club, etc...
