English Golden Retrievers
It all begins with quality over quantity
At NTX Goldens, we only have two breeding English Golden Retrievers (one male and one female) as they live in our home as part of the family along with a couple rescue dogs. We do not utilize guardian homes to hide the number of Retrievers in our breeding program. Having very few breeding Retrievers means we only have 1-2 litters a year. That's why it all begins with quality over quantity. We breed our Retrievers once they've reached the age of two and have been fully health tested as per the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) and American Kennel Club (AKC) Code of Ethics.
Each Retriever has a long AKC registered name and a go-by name. Our Retrievers are either Champions themselves or come from championship bloodlines. Each retriever was hand-selected not only for their incredible pedigrees and wonderful temperament, but for their genetic clearances. Genetic, PennHIP, and OFA testing is completed on all our breeding Retrievers. NTX Goldens Ricochet Jackrabbit
Go-by Name: Ricochet or Ricky
DOB: 01/08/2019
IntCH Ricochet was born from two of our previous breeding Retrievers in North Texas. He was named after one of our favorite pro-wrestlers and the mascot of our then local high school. Ricochet obviously comes from a very healthy imported championship bloodline. I mean, just look at him. He has that loving personality you look for in a Golden. Always eager to please and well mannered. Ricochet has a distinctive black spot on his tongue. While having a thin build from plenty of exercise, he has a big blocky head, short snout, and beautiful dirty blonde coat. ​
In May 2021, Ricochet earned his International Championship at the Lone Star Spring Sieger. He is ALL CLEAR of the eight common Golden Retriever Genetic Deficiencies, and has PennHIP and all OFA testing completed.

HnrBA, IntBA, and NatBA Sally came to us by way of Iowa. She was born while we were in Florida picking up another mustang (a car, not a horse). Since "Mustang Sally" is little cliche, we decided to go with "Ride Along Sally" instead. She comes from a very impressive imported championship bloodline which includes DewMist and Tramin. In her younger days, she loved playing mom whenever we had litters of puppies. She just loved playing with them and is still very playful today. She's definitely our most energetic Retriever.

As a baby, Sally earned Championship after Championship. She's that perfect. She is ALL CLEAR of the eight common Golden Retriever Genetic Deficiencies, and has PennHIP and all OFA testing completed.

Sky became part of our family by way of Tennessee. She is truly our diamond in the rough and makes you want to sing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". Sky comes from a very impressive imported championship bloodline out of Russia and Hungary. She loves to play with all the toys and thinks she owns them all. When not playing with her toys, you can find Sky in the yard running tracks trying to kick up flying bugs to chase or looking at shadows. She will chase shadows around almost like she's part cat. Sky has no problem crawling up into your personal space and laying across you whether you like it or not.

Sky never had the opportunity to earn a championship, although one look at her and you know she would have easily walked away with one. Sky is not affected by any of the eight common Golden Retriever Genetic Deficiencies, and has PennHIP and all OFA testing completed. She whelped two litters before retiring from our breeding program in October 2023.

IntCH Rudy came to us by way of Tennessee with a distinguishable black birthmark on the bridge of his nose. His name is very fitting of his personality and yes, his name came from the movie, Rudy. He has very impressive imported championship bloodline out of Russia and Hungary. He loves to play fetch and is definitely a love bug. Rudy has that huggable build with a big blocky head, short snout, and wavy dirty blonde coat. He retired from our breeding program in September 2022.

NatCH Star is from our January 2019 Kodiak and Jasmine Litter. She is definitely a star. She has that loving personality you look for in a Golden, but is well mannered. A little shy at first, she quickly warms up to strangers. Star comes from a very healthy imported championship bloodline. She is built just like her momma with that thinner snout and head, thick hips, and beautiful dirty blonde coat. She has a black patch of hair near her right elbow distinguishing her from the others. Star was raised utilizing the Puppy Culture Protocols. She whelped two litters before retiring from our breeding program in September 2022.

She is very protective and doesn't care for strangers, but if she sees her siblings not having an issue, she'll come around. She loves to bring toys just to hand them to you for a minute then take it back. Stella comes from a very healthy imported championship bloodline. She has the hips of her momma and the head of her daddy. With her thick head and hips, and beautiful dirty blonde coat, Stella is stellar in all ways just as her name indicates. Stella was raised utilizing the Puppy Culture Protocols. She whelped two litters before retiring from our breeding program in September 2022.
