Puppy Application Process

First, thank you for putting your trust in NTX Goldens to provide you with your future puppy. It's ok if you're just here to look around. I understand this is a big commitment. I believe a puppy is not only a pet, but part of the family. Along with completing an application, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is required (only after your application is approved). The non-refundable deposit will not only hold your spot in line, but will also guarantee you an NTX Goldens puppy. The non-refundable deposit will also lock you into the current rate should we ever change our prices. The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the overall purchase price of your puppy. The remaining balance will be required before your puppy leaves our home. If you decide not to purchase a puppy from NTX Goldens, you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit and be removed from our list. Remember, your spot in line does not get locked in until you make the non-refundable deposit. We do not have or keep a long list of families waiting on puppies.

Also, understand that the number of puppies in each litter is kind of one of those moving targets. While we can get ultrasounds completed close to end of the pregnancy cycle, the number of healthy born puppies is still a wild guess. Let's not even get into how many male and female puppies will be in each litter. While we do our best to get you a puppy from our next available litter, sometimes we just don't have enough to go around. In that case, you'll be bumped to the next litter or you can have a refund of your deposit. If you have a specific pairing (dam and stud) you are wanting a puppy from, please let us know in the final question on the puppy application. We are flexible.

As puppies find their furever homes from families ahead of you on our list, your number will, in turn, go down. We will inform you of milestones as you go down the list (i.e. when you hit number 15, 10, 5, 4, etc). Once you move down into the top ten (if we have a extended list), you can expect a puppy from our current or upcoming litter depending on the number of puppies in the litter, and the number of each sex available. At this point, you will be given a contract to complete (you may review a contract any time, just ask). You will have a choice to complete the contract and take a puppy from the offered litter or bump yourself to the next litter. You may only bump yourself one time. If you do not accept a puppy from the second litter, you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit and be removed from our list. The contract is just a formal procedure to protect both you and me. It also contains our 2 year health guarantee.

NOTE: We do not ship our puppies in the belly of a plane like they're a piece of luggage. Puppies are to be picked up at our home or a meeting place agreed to ahead of time. We can even meet you at DFW or Love Field airport (both in the DFW Metroplex) if you plan to fly with the puppy in cabin. We are available for both weekday and weekend pickup. Delivery may be arranged for an additional fee. Remember, we will have others picking up their puppy at the same time. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but be patient.

I understand once my application is approved, I am required to submit a $250 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy from NTX Goldens. I understand that LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION is $3,000 and FULL AKC REGISTRATION is $4,000. I also understand that once a puppy is available, I will be required to sign a mutual contract with NTX Goldens. This contract will cover the 2-year health guarantee, amongst other things.
